Fox League’s Bryan Fletcher and Nathan Hindmarsh love to joke around, but it seems a moment in their latest skit actually foreshadowed the Lachlan Galvin drama that’s currently engulfing the Wests Tigers.
A bombshell dropped on Monday when the Tigers released a statement revealing Galvin had rejected their extension offer and the 19-year-old would not be at the club beyond the 2026 season.
The story has dominated headlines ever since with multiple theories emerging over why Galvin wants out and also on where he’ll end up.

The huge contract call came two months after Galvin sat down with teammates Jarome Luai and Jack Bird to film a skit with Fletch & Hindy.
Fox League rolled out that skit on Thursday night with a cheeky poke from Fletch now taking on a whole new meaning.
Luai: Direspect Benji, you disrespect us | 07:00
“Hindy and I are discussing our next moves career-wise,” Fletch said to the trio.
He then said “you’ve obviously signed for four years” before turning to Galvin and saying: “You’re about to sign with the Chooks... sorry Tigers, that was a Freudian slip.”
Galvin immediately chuckled, awkwardly looked down, then looked up and away.
He was then put on the spot by his teammate Alex Twal, who read out questions written by Fletch & Hindy.

Benji hits back at Galvin backlash | 08:30
It was an interesting insight into Galvin’s spirits — which seemed high — during the pre-season despite reports he’s been agitating for a release for a while.
He also seemed to get along fine with his halves partner Luai, who placed his arm on Galvin’s shoulder at one stage during the skit.
However now according to reports there was tension brewing between the two playmakers.
Galvin was dropped by NRL coach Benji Marshall this week and will play for feeder side Western Suburbs Magpies in New South Wales Cup on Monday.
